ULSAM Population
Between 1970 and 1973, all men born between 1920 and 1924 and resident in the municipality of Uppsala, Sweden, were invited to participate in a health survey.
Data Collection Event
ULSAM-50
Recruited men at age 50 underwent the first screening examination programme, including a medical questionnaire and interview, blood and urine sampling, blood pressure and anthropometric measurements, intravenous glucose tolerance test, ECG recording, chest X-ray and pure tone audiometry.
